Injection‑Molding Processing
‑ Drying Treatment: HDPE features extremely low moisture absorption (<0.01%). Drying is not required under good storage conditions. Dry at 60‑80°C for 1‑2 hours as precaution if package damaged or under high‑humidity environment. ‑ Melt Temperature: Recommended processing range 180‑260℃. Typical barrel reference ~220℃; lower for rear zone, higher for front zone. ‑ Mold Temperature: 30‑70℃. Higher mold temperature improves crystallinity, part strength and surface gloss, yet prolongs cooling cycle and increases shrinkage. ‑ Injection Pressure: Normally 70‑100 MPa (≈700‑1000 bar). Higher pressure may be required for complex or thin‑wall articles. ‑ Injection Speed: Medium‑high speed recommended for better flow and production efficiency.
Blow‑Molding Processing
‑ Processing Temperature: 150‑220℃, fine‑tuned according to equipment and finished parts. ‑ Blow‑up ratio: Optimize according to mold and product design.
